What Sunwing travel documents am I required to bring to the airport for my departure?

You are required to bring your electronic documents, which can be accessed within 28 days prior to your departure and once you have paid for your trip in full. E-documents can be accessed through the "My Booking" portal (located in the top right corner of sunwing.ca)  or through the Sunwing app under “My Trip.” For cruise packages, exchange voucher(s) will be forwarded to you or your travel agent approximately 14 days prior to your scheduled departure. Your airline ticket(s) will contain conditions as well as the terms of carriage.

What documents do I require to travel?

Many countries will no longer accept passports that are not valid for 6 months after the return date, nor will they accept passports damaged in any way. As travel requirements can change, it is your responsibility to check the entry requirements put in place by the border authorities of the country you are planning to visit as well as the Government of Canada website. 

In addition to a valid passport, passengers must use ArriveCAN to digitally submit their COVID-19 related information before boarding their flight to Canada. This can be done by downloading the ArriveCAN app (available on Google Play or the App Store) or by completing the required information online at Canada.ca/ArriveCAN. Failure to comply could result in enforcement action, which can range from verbal warnings to $1,000 fines.
 An Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is required for visa-exempt foreign nationals entering Canada. Canadian citizens, holders of a valid Canadian Permanent Resident Card, and U.S. Citizens are exempt. The eTA will be required when boarding a flight to Canada. Registration of Canadians Abroad is a free service offered by Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada that keeps you connected to Canada in case of an emergency abroad, such as an earthquake or civil unrest, or an emergency at home. Once you have booked your vacation, sign up at travel.gc.ca - it’ll only take a few minutes.
