WestJet and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), representing WestJet cabin crew, have reached a tentative agreement.

While this is an important step forward, the impact of recent labour disruptions on WestJet scheduled flights means that a full return to normal operations will take time. As we resume flying and repositioning our aircraft and crews, some flights may continue to be disrupted. We are grateful for your continued patience and understanding; our teams are working to safely restore our operation as soon as possible.

If your flight has been cancelled, please monitor your email as we will attempt to reach out to you with more information. If your flight departs within 24-hours and you have not heard from us, please contact us please be advised that longer-than-usual hold times may occur.

If you have an upcoming vacation

Although we are resuming operations, it will take several days to fully restore our network. Before departing for the airport, please continue to:

• Check your flight status

• Monitor your email and SMS for important updates

If your upcoming flight has been cancelled

• If you haven't already been rebooked, we'll continue working to reaccommodate you on the next available flight, including on other airlines

• If you no longer wish to travel contact us, for your options

• If you booked through a travel agency, please contact them directly for assistance

For guests currently at destination whose flight has been cancelled, our destination team is working to extend hotel accommodations one night at a time. We ask that you confirm with your hotel front desk to verify your accommodation has been extended.
