Can I bring electronic cigarettes in my carry-on?

On Sunwing Airlines, electronic cigarettes (E-cigarettes or personal vaporizers) must be packed in your carry-on baggage and cannot be used onboard. For all other airlines, please visit their websites.
Please note Cuba and the Dominican Republic do not permit E-cigarettes or personal vaporizers in either carry-on or checked baggage.  E-cigarettes and/or personal vaporizes will be confiscated at Customs should travellers be in possession of them either upon arrival into Cuba or the Dominican Republic.

Does Sunwing allow sporting equipment as carry-on?

Accepted Answer

Sports and water sports equipment must be checked in, and packed in their appropriate containers. Please note that standard transfer vehicles may not be able to accommodate oversized equipment and you may need to pay additional fees to transport your equipment to your final destination.

Does Sunwing allow a wedding dress as carry-on?

Sunwing Airlines has a designated compartment onboard to store your wedding dress to your destination. Are there any restrictions to the size and weight of my carry-on baggage?

Accepted Answer

On Sunwing Airlines, each passenger is permitted one piece in the cabin as carry-on, as well as one personal item, and each item must be no larger than 23 x 40 x 51 cm (9 x 16 x 20 in). The weight of your carry-on piece cannot exceed 5kg. Soft-sided, carry-on baggage is recommended. Bags that are overweight may need to be checked in. Please note that due to mandatory passenger security screening or secondary passenger security screening, passengers may not be permitted to carry liquids, lotions or gels purchased as duty-free items on board as carry-on baggage. Are there any household products I should refrain from packing in my luggage?

Please note that customers travelling with household products containing calcium chloride, including but not limited to moisture absorbers, some laundry detergents and fabric softeners, may be subject to additional screening at destination airports, in accordance with the screening processes established by local regulatory authorities. Customers in destination who may have household products containing calcium chloride are encouraged to use the products while in destination and responsibly dispose of any remaining product before departing for their return flights.
