Real Wedding: Teresa & Germaine

Where it all started

Teresa and Germaine met during a ski trip to Blue Mountain. Within a week of knowing one another, Germaine and Teresa were confident that they were meant to be together; Teresa jokingly asked if Germaine had good credit and he predicted that “At Last” by Etta James would be their first dance song.

Years later, Germaine planned a sweet and simple proposal for the love of his life. Their two daughters were in on the plan and asked their parents to pose for a photo. Moments before the flash, Germaine surprised Teresa by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. Best of all, the girls caught her reaction on camera!

Planning the wedding

When it came time to start planning their special day, both Teresa and Germaine were certain that they wanted to celebrate somewhere tropical. They decided to host their destination wedding at Royalton White Sands Montego Bay, an elegant family-friendly resort in Jamaica. The resort featured amenities to suit wedding guests of all ages, a wide selection of delicious dining options and picture-perfect wedding day backdrops.

Day details

On March 17th, the anniversary of the day they met, Teresa and Germaine exchanged vows during a glamorous ceremony at the resort’s oceanfront gazebo. Their special day was decorated in an elegant colour scheme of blush, ivory and grey which beautifully complemented Teresa’s gorgeous gown. For a special touch, their two adorable daughters joined the celebrations with important wedding day duties as the flower girl and the ring bearer. Later on, the poolside reception began beneath a flowy tent decorated with luminous lanterns and a spacious dancefloor. The newlyweds and their wedding guests spent the evening celebrating and Germaine’s first dance prediction came true at last.
