Incorporate a travel theme in your wedding décor by using destination names instead of traditional numbers for your seating chart. Each table can be named after a destination that you and your soon-to-be-spouse have travelled to together! Then, place photos on each corresponding table of the two of you in that destination. Notebooks
Use notebooks as your table numbers and have your guests write personalized messages to you and your partner during the reception. You can either choose notebooks with designs that match your décor or spray-paint plain notebooks in the colour of your choice. The notebooks will look beautiful with any floral décor and small votives placed artfully around the table are the perfect finishing touch. Plus, the filled-in notebooks with heartfelt messages are a beautiful memento of your big day.
Throwback photos
Instead of traditional consecutive numbers, use important years from your life for table numbers. You can include monumental moments from your lives, including the year you were born, the year you met, the year of your first date, the year you got engaged and so on. Wine bottles
Combine your table numbers and wedding favours into one! Use wine bottles as place cards with custom labels with your guest’s name, table number and your wedding date. The custom labels can easily be made at home using special sticker paper (available at most craft and stationary stores), before sticking them on the bottles in destination. For your main table numbers, use empty wine bottles as labelled table numbers and add candles for a romantic element.
