Discover the breathtaking natural beauty of Mexico’s Pacific Coast on a vacation to scenic Riviera Nayarit. Located just north of Puerto Vallarta, this 200-mile stretch of coastline offers plenty of opportunities for both beachside relaxation and eco exploration. Kick back and relax by your resort’s golden-sand beach or head out on an excursion to access the area’s untouched beaches that are accessible only by water – including Playa del Amor in Marietas Islands National Park, a hidden beach that a limited number of people can visit each day. Golf enthusiasts can play at one of the area’s numerous world-class golf courses designed by famous architects like Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Robert Von Hagge. Head to the beach town of Sayulita to learn how to surf on the coast’s legendary waves that surfers from around the world travel to experience. Make sure to visit Riviera Nayarit between December and March to spot whales migrating through the waters!
