Spring Break Policy:
In order to maintain a family oriented environment, IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts does not accept any Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals) at any property and during any time of the year. Spring Breakers are defined as High School through College-aged individuals who book together as individual reservations or groups. IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to deny check-in to any group or individual that can be defined as a Spring Break group.

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts provides a family friendly experience therefore it has implemented the following policy for Student/Youth Groups. This policy applies to all Iberostar properties year-round. Students/youth groups are considered by the hotel as any guest between 16 and 23 years of age traveling together.

Any student/youth group requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the hotel before final confirmation is provided.
The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18 years of age.
One parent or chaperone of at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in. Adults accompanying the group are responsible for the student’s behavior.
In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behavior, disrespecting hotel staff and/or other guests or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights. Access to the hotel night club is provided to guests 18 years +. The legal drinking age in Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic is 18 years of age. Alcoholic beverages are available to all guest that are over 18 years old.

In addition, individual bookings and student groups will be subject to the following conditions:

Individual bookings and Groups will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit of $200.00 USD per room upon check-in for any charges, damages, unpaid expenses, losses or fines that the clients incur or become responsible for during their stay. If damages exceed the $200 usd per room deposit, the total value of the damages will be charged to the guest’s room and will be due at time of check out. If damages are not incurred, the deposit will be refunded to the client.

Policy for Minors - All guests under the age of 18 will be given an easily identifiable colored wristband. In case of damage, alteration or misuse of said bracelet THE GUEST who is the responsible guardian of the minor must pay a penalty of $300 USD or its equivalent in the national currency at the exchange rate that prevails. Hotel Management reserves the right to expel any guest who tampers or violates Iberostar Hotels and Resorts policies, if deemed necessary, without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
