Hotel does not accommodate any type of student groups, including but not limited to spring break groups. Any leisure or social group that is predominantly comprised of guests under the age of 25, must be of a family nature where at least one parent stays in the room with their children.

Environmental Tax is approx. $38 MXN Pesos per room per night (approx $2.50 USD per room per night, pending exchange rate). Payable locally directly to the hotel upon check in. Rates are subject to change.
Please be advised effective April 20th, 2024, until March 22nd, 2025, the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos in Mexico will be undergoing renovations to enhance guest experience.
The renovation works will be scheduled as follows therefore the following services will be closed: Construction work will only take place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the following dates:
• April 20, 2024 – September 20, 2024: Fitness Center Construction is taking place on a new Fitness Center and no disruption is anticipated for guests as the old fitness center will remain open for use.
• May 23, 2024 – July 8, 2024: Cortez Restaurant Cortez restaurant will be closed, and noise and dust should be expected.
• May 23, 2024 – August 23, 2024: The Business Center The Business Center in the lobby will be open but guests can expect noise and dust (from 9AM to 6PM) as a new Business Center and Lobby Bar are being built within the main lobby.
• May 23, 2024 – March 22, 2025: Tower B Tower B will be completely closed as 232 rooms and bathrooms are fully renovated. Although these rooms are out of inventory, we expect heavy noise in the first nine weeks.
• May 23, 2024 – March 22, 2025: The Water Park The Water Park will be closed.
• May 27, 2024 – October 29, 2024: The Port Cochere The port cochere (covered entrance) will be upgraded and noise and dust should be expected.
• June 3, 2024 – December 16, 2024: The Convention Center The convention center foyer will be expanded and there will be dust and noise. Events and weddings are being rescheduled but leisure guests should not be affected. Breakout room will be closed on specific dates during this time.
• June 1, 2024 – March 22, 2025: Bar Coco Loco Pool snack bar Coco Loco will be under construction. Noise and dust are expected but snacks and drinks will still be offered poolside.
• June 1, 2024 – March 22, 2025: Zaffiro Restaurant While Zaffiro—the Italian restaurant—will be closed. Italian cuisine will be available at the Cortez restaurant during this time.
• June 10, 2024 – December 12, 2024: The Teen Club The Teen Club will be expanded, and it will be closed for guests. Entertainment for all ages will be available around the main pool.
• June 10, 2024 – December 19, 2024: The Kids Club The Kidz Club will be renovated, and a temporary KidZ Club will open in a meeting room and children’s programming will still be offered during this time.
• July 22, 2024 – December 9, 2024: New Indian Dining A new Indian dining outlet is being built in the lobby bar area and noise and dust is to be expected.
It’s important to note that these areas listed above will be operating as usual outside of the timeframe listed and will not affect all travelers. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos will be working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.
