  • Vista Café offers convenient wireless connectivity
  • Cove Café (adults only) offers WiFi-enabled café laptops, available at a fee

The computers also do not allow program or software uploads and downloads.

Cell Phone Services

In addition to dedicated locations where guests can take advantage of ship-to-shore calling, Disney Cruise Line features Cellular at Sea phone service—so they can use their own cell phone or wireless PDA just as they would on land. Available from most cell phone carriers including AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, this service is currently accessible in staterooms.

Note: Usage rates and international roaming rates vary as guests travel. Guests should be sure to contact their cell phone provider to learn these rates before they cruise. Disney Cruise Line recommends that Guests seeking to avoid the unwanted costs associated with data downloads keep their wireless devices turned off during their cruise.

Daily Program

Each morning, a newsletter called the Personal Navigator is delivered to the guests’ stateroom. It includes a complete listing of all onboard activities, adventures and entertainment. It also includes activity and entertainment schedules for children and teens. Extra copies are available at Guest Services where Cast Members will be happy to assist guests with questions.

Onboard Purchases

On board all Disney ships, all transactions are in U.S. dollars. Guests won't need cash while at sea because Disney Cruise Line has a convenient "cash-free" system on board the ship.

When guests arrive at the Disney Cruise Line terminal at Port Canaveral, your signature will be requested for check-in. At this time you may also present a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Credit Card, Diners Club International or Disney's Visa Credit Card), which will give you charging privileges aboard the ship. Any purchases on the ship, including beverage services, spa, salon services, photography, medical and laundry services, purchases from retail shops, gratuities and any item or service of a personal nature must be charged to your room. All purchases made onboard are charged to the guests’ stateroom account and an itemized statement detailing all purchases made onboard by the guests will be delivered to the guests’ stateroom. All charges must be settled before debarkation from the ship by cash, traveler's checks, Disney Dollars or by the credit cards mentioned above.

Disney Cruise Line Access

Guests with disabilities have access to comfortable staterooms and suites, along with a full range of services, facilities and amenities, including auxiliary aids, on every Disney Cruise Line ship and Disney's private island paradise, Castaway Cay.

Most Guest areas aboard ship—including theaters, restaurants and shops—are accessible to all our Guests. In some cases, such as when utilizing tender services or in pools, Guests may need to transfer from their wheelchairs to utilize the facility, and this transfer may require the assistance of a member of their party. Therefore, we recommend that Guests plan to sail with someone who can physically assist them when necessary. Please also be advised that in certain situations, it may be impossible for Guests using wheelchairs to transfer to the tenders due to safety concerns.

Special Access, Seating and Entrances

Special viewing areas at scheduled onboard activities are set aside for Guests using wheelchairs while on their vacation. Assistance with accessible seating at the Walt Disney Theatre can also be arranged by contacting a Crew Member outside the theater entrance at least 10 minutes prior to show time.

    Clothing Suggestions

Guests should dress for a cruise with Disney the same way they would for a land-based resort in the Caribbean. Casual attire is the order of the day such as shorts, sundresses, tank tops, etc. for the ladies, and for men; shorts, polo shirts, T-shirts, etc. will do. It is suggested that guests wear rubber-soled, low heeled or flat shoes for extra traction while onboard as well as comfortable walking shoes or sandals. Guests should bring a hat or visor and a collapsible umbrella. All Disney cruises host a tropical deck party. Guests are invited to join in the fun by wearing festive island wear, including colorful shirts, dresses, shorts or pants.

Dinner attire is "cruise casual," meaning no shorts, swimwear or tank tops. Palo diners will want to dress up a bit more though Guests are free to dress up for any dinner. Guest can refer to the Personal Navigator regarding dressing advice for that night's dinner.
